We nipped over to Linköping for Jen's birthday weekend

Carin and Magnus on the doorstep of their new house with Jen, Lovisa and Linnea

A slightly wary horse behind an electric fence

Two less wary horses, possibly fans of electrostimulation

Myself, Linnea and Lovisa in the playpark near the house

With Linnea on a rocking horse type thingy. Its head kept falling off

Seeing whether Lovisa's head would fall off too

Riding the hog

An absolutely brilliant toy tunnel. Wish I'd had one when I was wee

Lovisa in the tunnel

The house from across the road. Visitors had arrived for Jen's birthday meal

Linnea working off the calories after the big meal

Going for a walk in the woods by a 'ravine' on Sunday

Gazing into the murky depths

Jen leading youth astray

I found two perfect parasol mushrooms, which we ate the next day

Looking for more mushrooms

The 'ravine' was in the grounds of Castle Douglas - founded by a Scotsman!

The castle gardens

Bengt, Gunilla, Lovisa and Jen in a playpark by Sandviken by Roxen lake

Sunlight reflections on Roxen

Roxen lake has a lot of green algae growing in it, and didn't look too inviting for a dip

Lovisa back in the playpark

A Fly Agaric mushroom in the woods by Carin and Magnus's house. We found and ate a cauliflower mushroom too, but it was a bit bland and disappointing

Linnea cleaning up

Lovisa making mischief in Linköping town

Linnea pretending to be all innocent

A car with poo on it
